Eynsham Scouts is a thriving scouting community supporting a section each of Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts.  We currently have approximately 100 young people in uniform, supported by 16 uniformed leaders, 4 young leaders and 6 helpers. 

We have an excellent Scout Hall, which was opened in 2005 complete with garden area, car park and fully operational kitchen.

Group Events


There has been a Scout Group in Eynsham since 1917, and for many years Eynsham had a very successful fife and drum band.  Information on the History of Eynsham Scout Group can be found at the Eynsham Scout Archive.

Eynsham and area

Eynsham is a thriving village of approximately 6,000 people located about 6 miles west of Oxford and 6 miles east of Witney.  Nestled between the A40 trunk road and the River Thames, which passes within about ½ mile south of the village.
